Terms of service

The terms that apply when you buy and use a Windows RDP or VPS from RDP For Sale.

Last updated 10 August 2026

These terms apply to every service you buy from RDP For Sale. Placing an order means you accept them. Please read them before you order.

1. Who you are dealing with

The service is provided by RDP For Sale. You can reach us at [email protected] at any time.

2. What you get

A Windows virtual machine you reach over Remote Desktop Protocol, with the CPU, memory and storage listed on the plan you chose, an administrator account and a dedicated IPv4 address. Plan specifications may change for new orders, but not for a service you have already paid for, until it renews.

3. Your account and your server

  • Keep your login details private. You are responsible for everything done through your account and on your server.
  • Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access.
  • You must give accurate contact and billing details, and keep them up to date. We may suspend a service if we cannot reach you.
  • One person or business per account. Do not resell access unless we have agreed it in writing.

4. Payment and renewal

  • Services are paid in advance for the period you chose. Access begins once payment clears.
  • We invoice before each renewal date. If payment is not received by that date, the service is suspended.
  • A suspended service, and everything on it, may be deleted after a further grace period. We are not obliged to recover data deleted this way.
  • Prices can change. We will tell you before a change affects your renewal, and you are free to cancel instead.
  • Payments made in cryptocurrency are final once confirmed on the blockchain. Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed by us.
  • If you raise a chargeback or payment dispute instead of contacting us, we may suspend the service straight away while it is resolved.

5. Windows licensing

Unless your plan states otherwise, you supply your own Windows licence and you are responsible for using it within Microsoft's terms. We are not responsible for licensing decisions you make, or for any claim from a software vendor about how you have used their software on your server.

6. How you may use the service

Your use is governed by our acceptable use policy. It is part of these terms. Breaking it can lead to immediate suspension or termination without a refund.

7. Availability and maintenance

  • We aim for 99.9% network availability in any calendar month.
  • This target excludes scheduled maintenance, emergency security work, problems caused by your own software or configuration, and anything outside our reasonable control.
  • If we miss the target in a month, your remedy is a service credit for that month, which you must request within 30 days. A credit is the only remedy for downtime.
  • We announce planned maintenance in advance where we reasonably can.

8. Backups are your responsibility

Unless you have bought a backup add-on, keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose, stored somewhere other than the server. We do not guarantee that any backup we hold will exist, be complete or be recoverable.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end a service immediately, without a refund, if:

  • you break these terms or the acceptable use policy;
  • the service is used for anything unlawful, or in a way that harms our network, our other customers or our IP reputation;
  • payment fails or is reversed; or
  • we are required to by a supplier, a court or a competent authority.

Where the problem is minor and fixable, we will normally contact you first. Where it is serious, ongoing or unlawful, we may act without warning.

You can cancel at any time from the client area. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. The server and its data are deleted at that point.

10. Your content

Everything you store or run on the server is yours and remains your responsibility. You confirm you have the right to use it and that it does not break any law. We do not monitor the contents of your server, but we may access it where we need to investigate a suspected breach, respond to a security incident, or comply with a legal obligation.

11. Things outside our control

We are not responsible for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. That includes upstream network or datacentre failures, power loss, attacks on our infrastructure, faults in third-party software, government action and natural events.

12. The service is provided as it is

We work hard to keep the service fast and available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose beyond what these terms set out. Any warranty not stated here is excluded so far as the law allows.

13. Limit of our liability

  • Our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to what you paid us for that service in the month the claim arose.
  • We are not liable for lost profit, lost revenue, lost business, lost or corrupted data, or any indirect or consequential loss, however it arises.
  • Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

14. If your use causes us a claim

If someone brings a claim against us because of how you used the service or what you stored on it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and any resulting liability.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with the date it was last changed. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you before it applies to your renewal. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

16. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which RDP For Sale is established, and the courts of that country have exclusive jurisdiction. If you have a problem, contact us first — almost everything is settled faster that way.
